The Joy of Love - Us

It's us..

who met as teenagers

who got engaged when I was fresh out of High School

who other people tried to convince to not get married

who will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary this October.




Together we..

have grown into who we are now

have struggled

have fought

have loved with a passion that still surprises me

have seen how the other half lives

have survived loss, school, addiction, and illness, and come out stronger

have 2 precious boys



As parents we..

would rather play than do the laundry

let them eat junk food

watch all the kid movies

go down the slides at the park

yell more than we like to admit




After being together so long we..

try to never go to bed angry

know what the other one wants usually before they do

get excited about nights out

would rather be home with just each other than anywhere else
